In September, the Judicial Conference amended the Electronic Public Access Fee Schedule for the appellate, district and bankruptcy courts, the United States Court of Federal Claims, and the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to increase the quarterly threshold for waiving PACER fees from $15 to $30.

As a result of this amendment, PACER users will not be charged a fee for usage that does not exceed $30 in a given quarterly billing cycle.

This change will take effect on January 1, 2020, and will be reflected in PACER users' quarterly bills received in April 2020 and thereafter.
