The Bankruptcy Advice Clinics for the Twin Cities area are mainly virtual, with one in-person clinic each month in Saint Paul. The Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) is offering free legal advice over the phone by appointment only. Please call the VLN Intake Line at 612-752-6677 to obtain an appointment.

Starting in February 2026, the in-person clinic will be held on the second Thursday of each month, at the Warren E. Burger Federal Building and United States Courthouse, 316 North Robert Street, from 11:00am – 1:00pm. The in-person clinic is "first come, first served," and the final consultation must be started by 12:30pm. Please note that if no clients arrive by noon, the attorney will leave early. As such, those interested in attending the in-person clinic should arrive before noon. The clinic will be held on the second floor of the courthouse.
