In January, the judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court will appoint one new member to the Bankruptcy Practice Committee. The Practice Committee meets every other month to address local rule changes and to provide input and suggestions on improving the administration of bankruptcy cases and proceedings in the district. In addition, members of the Committee typically serve on one or both of the topical subcommittees dealing with business and consumer issues.
