Online Payments Now Available for Court Fees via Pay.gov

April 7, 2025

The United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota is pleased to announce the implementation of online payments for all court fees through Pay.gov, an online payment service provided by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. This platform enables the secure and convenient collection of any court fees owed to the clerk’s office, including copies, through a simple online form.

Pay.gov is accessible 24/7 and functions similarly to standard online payment systems. To make a payment, users must complete the online form entitled MNB MISC FEES and follow the step-by-step instructions provided. The system accepts ACH transfers, debit cards, and PayPal as payment methods.

Pay.gov MNB MISC FEES is free to use and does not require users to create an account. However, registering for an account is recommended for those who anticipate making multiple payments, as it allows for the secure storage of personal and payment information and provides the ability to manage past transactions.

Along with our new online payment option, we now offer the ability to request copies electronically through our website at https://www.mnb.uscourts.gov/request-copies. After submitting the Online Copy Request form, you will receive a notification with the amount due, which can be paid using the MNB MISC FEES online payment form.

For more information or to access the payment portal, please visit https://www.mnb.uscourts.gov/online-payments.
