The Court has issued an en banc order requiring corporate ownership statements for all contested matters. The order requires any non-governmental corporation that is a party to a contested matter in a bankruptcy case that is not an adversary proceeding to file a corporate ownership statement. The order applies to all contested matters, which is defined as any motion, response to a motion, or objection that is filed in a bankruptcy case that is not an adversary proceeding. This new requirement applies to any contested matter in a bankruptcy case that is filed on or after December 1, 2021. The Court's website will be updated in the near future with instructions for how to file the required corporate ownership statements. Please review the en banc order for more information.
