CM/ECF: Certain Events Will Request Additional Information

Please be advised that beginning December 30, 2022, CM/ECF registered users will be asked for additional information when filing documents using certain events. Such events include, but are not limited to:

  • Motion for 2004 examination
  • Motion for authority to obtain credit
  • General notice of abandonment, lease, or sale
  • General notice of settlement or compromise
  • Motion to avoid lien(s)
  • Motion for release of lien(s)
  • Motion to sell property free and clear of lien(s)
  • Motion to assume/reject/assign
  • Motion to compel
  • Motion to approve compromise under Rule 9019
  • Reaffirmation agreement
  • Stipulation or agreement
  • Motion for contempt
  • Motion for sanctions
  • Motion re maintenance of bank accounts and existing cash management systems
  • Motion for use of cash collateral (preliminary and final hearings)
  • Motion for use of cash collateral (final hearing)
  • Motion for approval of post-petition secured and super priority financing pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 364(c)
  • Motion for debtor to honor workers compensation programs and pay insurance obligations
  • Motion rejecting lease(s)
  • Motion authorizing payment of contractors in satisfaction of liens
  • Motion authorizing the retention of professional(s)
  • Motion under 11 U.S.C. § 366 with respect to utility service

The purpose of the additional information is to assist the Court in conducting a conflict check and to provide docket clarity.
