LASNEM's Legal Advice Hotline provides Northeast Minnesota residents with the opportunity to speak with an attorney about their legal problems and challenges, including those arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.  The COVID-19 crisis has left many individuals with new and unanticipated legal and financial uncertainties, and LASNEM staff is available to help individuals navigate those uncertainties and identify options and potential solutions.  

The Legal Advice Hotline is open Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon) and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Individuals seeking assistance must be financially eligible for services and should have their income and household information ready when they call for assistance. Individuals will receive legal advice, and based on their circumstances, may be eligible for further services and representation.
