The application period to serve on the Bankruptcy Practice Committee (BPC) for a term starting on January 1, 2023, is now open. The judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court plan to appoint several new members to the BPC. The full BPC meets every other month to address local rule changes and to provide input and suggestions on improving the administration of bankruptcy cases and proceedings in the district. In addition, members of the BPC typically serve on one or more subcommittees to make recommendations to the full committee on a particular local rule or topic.

If you wish to be considered for membership on the Practice Committee, please send an email with a brief statement of your interest and a copy of your current resume to Clerk of Court Tricia Pepin at bankruptcypracticecommittee@mnb.uscourts.gov on or before December 2, 2022.
