Test Filing for Non-Attorneys

The required test filings are noted in the below table based on the user type (Creditor, Party of Interest, Ombudsman, Auditor or Course Provider). Note: the training database is not visible to the public, so you can use real documents as test documents.

User Type: Test document to be filed on the court's training database:
Creditor

File a Proof of Claim and an Amended Proof of Claim.

1. Prepare your PDF document - proof of claim forms.
2. Login to the training database.
3. Select Bankruptcy Claim Events Claims
4. Enter the data required and browse for your document.
5. Submit the filing.

The test document will be reviewed and if there are no problems, a live CM/ECF account will be issued.

PDF Fillable Forms: Recently, many creditors have been filing forms created from PDF fillable claim forms. Such documents are not completely secure. Unless those fillable forms have been "flattened" to fix the variable boxes, it may be possible for other users to easily extract that information or attempt to change the forms. If you file a claim that has not been flattened, you may be asked to submit an amended claim. For further information, see FAQ:

File a Request for Notice by Creditor.

1. A PDF document is not required for this event.
2. Login to the training database.
3. Select Bankruptcy Claim Events Add Creditor to Matrix/Request Notice
4. Enter the data required.
5. Submit the filing.

Personal Financial Management Course Provider

File a Certificate of Completion of Financial Management Course. Note: The title of the certificate itself is typically Certificate of Debtor Education.

1. Prepare your PDF document.
2. Login to the training database.
3. Select Bankruptcy Events Claim Events Other Claim Events
4. Enter the data required and browse for your document.
5. Submit the filing.

Auditor

File the Auditor Report.

1. Prepare your PDF document.
2. Login to the training database.

5. Submit the filing.

Healthcare Ombudsman

File the Ombudsman Report.
