When can I use the Inbox?

The Inbox may be used to file a document when no filing event in CM/ECF matches the document the attorney wishes to file. BE SURE the attorney has contacted the clerk's office and received authorization to submit the document to the Inbox.  Clerk's office staff will enter the document into CM/ECF.
 
CAVEAT:  While a document is considered "filed" when submitted to the Inbox, it may not be immediately entered into CM/ECF and served, if filed to the Inbox late in the business day or outside business hours.  An attorney filing to the Inbox must ensure the document is submitted early enough to ensure timely service through CM/ECF or must serve the document by mail or other conventional means.
